Location, Location, Location!
Choosing prime real estate has many benefits, including but not limit to visitation. You won’t be moving, so planting yourself in a nice neighborhood makes sense.
Consider hidden maintenance and grounds keeping fees, be sure the property you select has amenities close by (otherwise no visitors).
Avoid ‘back lot‘ locations where it’s a hike to see you (gets old). If you’ve bought a plot of land, you know the rules. If you never owned property, now you’re finally a land owner!
