The QT Mark means trust and integrity and means an organization has agreed to comply with the QTL Code of Ethical Internet Business Practices, meeting all the required criteria (and more if it so chooses):

• A reasonable and clear Privacy Policy
• Full disclosure or what it done with information gathered
• Verisign or equivalent and appropriate security systems
• Independent qualified security assessment
• Site Liability insurance coverage
• User Liability coverage 

QTL licenses the Mark to data storage, e-commerce, banking and trading, hosting, application service providers, developers, software and hardware product manufacturers, and other evolving and emerging technologies - those that require and/or desire the assurance and insurance consumers need to trust them and to use them without hesitation or concern, even if they are new organizations.
