A Code of Ethical Business Practices
This 'Code of Conduct' specifically states customer service, user privacy and security policies, what Organizations can and cannot do with User information they gather and more. It is clearly written, concise, and posted on Sites in language all can understand.

Financial penalties for Code violations
The Financial Penalties enforce the Code without the need for laws or legislation and work worldwide, no matter where the Organization is based.

Compensation to Users for violations of the Code
When a promise made in the 'Code' is not delivered, the user is compensated.

QTL helps Licensees enhance their relationship with Consumers. QTL also creates awareness on both sides so that everyone understands issues of concern like Privacy, Security and Disclosure of what is done with personal information.

The Codes we provide are specific, straightforward and clear. The QTL Code is not a list of promises Organizations should adhere to, it is what QTL Licensees must adhere to.

A link on the Licensee's Code enables the User to file a complaint if a problem arises. This Complaint is then sent directly to the Licensee for resolution. A QTL Associate also receives a copy.


If a Licensee makes an error and the error is a violation of the Licensee's Code, The Consumer is given a gift certificate or other compensation from the Licensee (as written in each Licensee's Code) to help maintain a good relationship.

QTL also immediately fines the Licensee $100 per incident and reports the error to the Licensee, with suggestions on how to avoid the same error in the future.

Licensees learn where they need to make improvements quickly, how to satisfy Consumers, and how to provide the Consumer with the best possible service.

Quality Testing Labs shall maintain its commitment to remain fair, impartial, ethical and moral to all parties, and to become involved and work closely with others who share our same goals.

As a third party independent body, QTL feels its Programs will be of benefit to Consumers,  Licensees and all the industries we serve now and in the future.
